The Sintang Orangutan Rescue Center is located in a remote corner of the Indonesian province of West Kalimantan, where timber and oil palm companies have decimated the orangutans' rainforest home. -

The Yogyakarta Rescue Center is being developed by Orangutan Outreach in partnership with the Royal Family of Yogyakarta. It will soon be home to a dozen cheekpadders from Ragunan Zoo.

The BOS Nyaru Menteng Rehabilitation Center was founded in 1999 by Willie Smits & Lone Dröscher Nielsen, and is today home to more than 600 orphaned and displaced orangutans.
