I am so glad and grateful, that Obama now becomes President. America was for decades hell for animals, compared to Germany, where I come from. Here in the USA animals did not even have basic rights and protection: Puppy mills – a horror! Shelters, that kill animals ( forbidden in Germany like declawing of cats or “debarking” of dogs etc etc) I hope and pray, that our new President will have time and support to make life a little better for us all AND for the dearest of all creatures: the animals. God bless him

I am not surprised that President Elect Obama is an advocate of animal rights. I, too, am filled with American and Pride and gratitude for this much needed change. That the world is celebrating is a testament to his ability to unite people of all backgrounds. GOD BLESS President Obama and the United States of America!
