A special message from Lone and the orangutans at Nyaru Menteng
Please note: Fio is fine! She just wasn’t around during the filming. Kesi, Lomon and Grendon were the first 3 orangutans in the international adoption program, so they still get top billing!
We will get footage of Fio asap. ~ Rich

I live in Arizona, USA and have a very very strong passion for orangutans. Do you ever offer any volunteer internships to work in Indonesia with rescue group?

Hello!
I just want to say how much I love Orangutan Island, and I find the work of Lone and her staff to be so inspiring. My mother and I ‘adopted’ Grendon and I have pictures of the adorable little guy all over my desktop. I’m so happy that I can help in a small way in taking care of these amazing creatures.
Kind regards,
Kate

Greetings from USA-Michigan!
Thank you for the update and the message! It is so important for me to help the orangutans as much as I can. I have started looking at products that contatin palm oil and then writing these products down so that I can inform BSO International. I am so glad to see my adopted “Kesi” is doing so good, as well as the others. Thank you for helping save these wonderful and intelligent creatures so that our future generations can enjoy them!
Fondly and full of love,
Jenna

Thank you, Lone, for the work you and your staff are doing for the Orangutans. I adopted Grendon and also a new baby Orangutan that was born in December here in St. Paul , Minnesota at the Como zoo, named Jaya. I would like to know if the general public is allowed to visit your facility and meet our adopted babies in person?
Keep up the good work and we will continue to help from our end and also to spread the word to our friends about the need to help your plight.

Greetings to you all, from Oregon!!
Thank you so very much for the video message. The “kids” all look great and happy. I have adoted 2 of your ‘kids” but would like to do more to help. I have sent all my friends your information on Palm Oil products. I have also started my own investigation into how many products we use on a daily basis contain palm oil and creating a list of replacement products to send to the web.
Thank you so very much for all the hard work you and your staff are putting into these wonderful creatures!!
With great respect,
Teresa

Thank you so much for the video message. It keeps up the inspiration! I just went through all my products at home and notified you all about the products that contain Palm Oil. I will be checking BEFORE I purchase to ensure that the products I buy do not contain Palm Oil.

Thank you so much for the video message and a huge thanks to Lone and her staff for dedicating their lives to such a wonderful, important cause. You are all doing something truly special for these beautiful creatures and for the whole planet. I was so happy to be able to see Kesi, my adopted Orangutan, in the video, as well as the others. I have been working with primates off and on for years. Do you need any more workers there? After seeing the show, I was ready to pack up and move but I didn’t know if you are looking for new employees! Right now, I have an Epileptic Jack Russell Terrier (rescued) that I can’t leave behind. When she passes, I’m ready to come, if needed! PLEASE let me know if you are in need!! I am a single, 53 year old female with no other ties and would LOVE to help you out! Let me know is my services would be of service!
