Orangutan Island
If you have been following Animal Planet’s show Orangutan Island you will know that our friends there are more or less ready to be released into the wild. To do this, Orangutan Outreach and BOS Foundation need YOUR HELP. It costs more than $2000 to release each orangutan but you can make a difference by donating any amount to reach this goal. Currently we take care of almost 800 orangutans and we would like to be able to rehabilitate and release them all with your help. Disclaimers: Money collected for orangutans will be used for medicine, food, equipment, rescue operations, cages and hundreds of other items that are necessary to rehabilitate the orangutans and keep the projects going. A minimal amount will be used for administrative costs in the US to continue to build up the organization so that we can rescue and rehabilitate even more orangutans.
