QUIRK: Has a constant runny nose and a very droopy bottom lip. He likes to sleep on the ground and puts food on his head while he’s eating.

HISTORY
As a youngster Jordan was trained to perform in an illegal stage show. He was given treats to act in very anti-social ways that included kicking and punching other juvenile orangutans. Jordan was taken at such a young age from his mother that he had very little memory of how to interact normally with other orangutans. The team at Nyaru Menteng Rescue and Rehabilitation Center began a long process to help Jordan to learn how to interact with his peers; but to this day he still has his anti-social moments.

LIFE ON ORANGUTAN ISLAND
Jordan can often be seen skulking around at the edge of any interesting event that might be occurring on Orangutan Island… he sometimes joins in and though his intentions may be social they often end up quite the opposite. He has a run in with the hulking intruder, Hamlet, who is surprisingly patient considering he gets whacked in the head with a plastic bottle…repeatedly. Jordan gets dangerously close to a bottle of engine oil, but a Teknisi arrives just in time to stop him drinking it.

When Lone and a veterinarian visit Orangutan Island to conduct a check of the community Jordan gets a thorough check over and he isn’t the most co-operative patient.
