Video: Baby Sumatran Orangutan at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Fianlly Gets Named

A baby boy Sumatran Orangutan born at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo on February 19th, 2009 finally has a name.
The public voted to name the baby Godek which means side-burns.
The public had a chance to vote on a total of four names, Jeruk (Jah-ROOK) which means orange in Indonesian, Godek (GO-deck) which means side-burns, Samar (sah-MAHR) which means concealed and Hujan (HOO-zhahn) which means rain.
The baby came to the surprise of the Orangutan keepers, who didn’t even know mom Sumagu was pregnant. This is Sumagu’s second baby. Her oldest is 6-years-old.
