There's a story I'd like to share about Dul, the orangutan that used to live with me before we got the info and finally send her to Nyarumenteng. She loves to watch a drama called "Pernikahan Dini" (early marriage). She always turn the TV on to check whether it was there or not. And when she saw Agnes Monica (the main character) cries, she'll walk to the TV and rub the actres's face, as if saying "it's okay".
Dul had a little sister named Upik. Upik often ran away at the bath time, and funnily, Dul (who never had a problem with water) will pull Upik's ear and dragged the naughty little sister to the shower.... ^^
That Dul... is really something. She was really overprotective towards my mother (which seems like she considered hers), and she'll throw me with any item nearby if I shout/rude to my mother. She often woke up at night secretly (really, without making any sound) to try my mother's make up on her face... and move to the softer spring bed and pillows. When I talked to her "Dul you look pretty today" she looks proud, but when I said "What an ugly girl" she'll slap me in the face and looks angry, hahahaha.... Dul, I hope she does well in forest....... remembering her always makes me cry...
