Westwood Intermediate Students Save Orangutans
We want to give a giant shout-out to Westwood Intermediate students Annika, Loryn and Piper for creating such an awesome school project to help the orangutans! As part of their 'Project Based Learning' exercise they created their own advertisements, purchased their own products, put up their own stand in the front of the building and collected a total of $668.00 for Orangutan Outreach. We're always amazed and inspired by the dedication of young people when it comes to saving orangutans. Their passion and joy clearly comes through in the video and photos below. Special thanks to their teacher, Ms. Olson, for encouraging them and helping them see the project through to completion! The girls are now proud adoptive parents of orangutans being cared for in Borneo! Thanks, girls!! {:(|}
