April 2014 – As many of you may recall, it’s been 3 years since beautiful baby Luna “disappeared” under highly suspicious circumstances from the center where she was supposedly being cared for….

We respectfully ask that everyone take a moment and reflect on the tragic loss of Luna.

What happened to her must never again happen to another innocent orangutan. We must do more to protect these angels. We must continue to work hard to stop the deforestation and habitat loss from oil palm expansion. And we must work even harder to shine light on the dark charlatans who pretend to help orangutans while doing no such thing. They know who they are. We know who they are. We’re watching them.

So please, everyone, a prayer for Luna. That if she is alive, she is not in pain, that she is not suffering. Better to have left this earth and joined her mother in the Great Canopy in the Sky than to suffer at the hands of man.

We miss you and we love you, Luna…..

You will remain in our hearts forever.
