Video: Tracking Orangutans

Have you ever wondered how orangutans are tracked after they are released back into the forest?
They’re fitted with a surgically implanted transmitter that the post-release monitoring team can follow by radio signal. After orangutans are released, they are followed by special teams— from a distance so as to not disturb the orangutans!

Orangutans are critically endangered! Extinction is forever! Please make a donation to help us purchase more transmitters and tracking equipment so we can release more orangutans!!!
