Video: Novita Recovering from the Fire
Scared, alone, and badly burned, Novita was thankfully rescued from the 2026 fires after two long days of attempts. She is now safe at the BOS Foundation Nyaru Menteng orangutan center where she is being lovingly cared for and receiving expert medical care. Her rehabilitation journey now begins. Watch her touching story in this video and please consider a donation to help all the orangutans affected by the devastating fires.
