  • Online adoption access for adoptive parents of orangutans.

This includes new orangutans in the online adoption program, new items available in our online shop, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting.   • We will email you our quarterly electronic newsletters. You can add or remove your name from our newsletter list at any time here or from the link at the bottom of all e-newsletters.
  • We may use the information to customize the website according to your interests.

Orangutan Outreach is committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. Our application databases and related backups are fully encrypted. Transmission of data between application servers, databases, and other services is over secure connections, and users may only connect with our web services using HTTPS. We employ web application firewalls, attack-detection, and similar services to prevent the authorized access of our public-facing services. Applications and underlying systems are monitored for security vulnerabilities and patched in a timely fashion if and when threats are discovered. In the event of a data breach we will notify users within 72 hours of our confirmation of such breach.
