Cinta’s Journey: A Forest Homecoming

Cinta took her first steps into the Bukit Baka Bukit Raya National Forest, Hiran watersheds, accompanied by her friends Liti, Ojes, and Wanto on this inaugural journey.

On December 13th, a remarkable chapter unfolded as Cinta took her first steps into the Bukit Baka Bukit Raya National Forest, Bemban watersheds, accompanied by her companions Liti, Ojes, and Wanto on this inaugural journey. The air was filled with anticipation as four other orangutans— Tomang, Lala, Fajar, and Fathia— followed suit the next day, embracing freedom in the Hiran watersheds.

Throughout the entire process, Cinta displayed a remarkable calmness—from sedation to the journey towards the forest. However, the real enchantment happened when the transport cage opened. With unbridled enthusiasm, Cinta leaped out, heading straight for the nearest tree. It was a moment of sheer joy and liberation, as Cinta embraced her newfound freedom in the embrace of the lush wilderness.
